Remembering Jim Tyger

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jim Tyger.  Joining Pine Instrument Company in 2003, Jim worked closely with our asphalt customers on their equipment maintenance and calibration needs.   Our customers quickly came to rely upon Jim’s friendly reminders for their annual gyratory service arrangements and then scheduled the Field Service appointments accordingly.  Managing the service schedule for five Pine Test Equipment field service techs and hundreds of customers was never without challenges.  Bad weather, unexpected equipment failures, or some crazy acts of God, something always occurred in the 11th hour creating havoc in his perfectly planned schedule.  So when mayhem hit, Jim improvised, adapted, and overcame…always with the customer’s best interest at hand.   He served our customers well; he served them with dignity, respect and care.

It’s never easy to lose a friend, but it’s particularly difficult during the holidays.   We ask for your understanding as we work through the absence of Jim’s presence and the void he leaves behind at Pine Test Equipment, Inc.

Rest in Eternal Peace, Jim.
